A 5.1-mile round trip from Mathews Arm Campground to an overlook of Overall Run Falls, a 93-foot drop and the highest waterfall in Shenandoah. Flow depends heavily on recent rain and can run dry in late summer.

Parking: Trailhead at the Mathews Arm Campground registration parking area, Skyline Drive mile 22.1.
Fees: Standard park entrance fee applies.

Best seasons: spring
Water: Overall Run parallels part of the trail; treat before drinking. Falls may have little to no flow outside of wet periods.
Cell service: Unreliable for most of the route
Hazards: Steep, rocky trail with stream crossings that can be slippery or high after rain
